RAF Ensign traditionally sewn using MoD approved woven flag fabric

Our fully sewn woven MoD approved flag fabric RAF ensigns are made using British Ministry of Defence approved high quality material UK/SC/4767. Manufactured in UK by one of the oldest local factories, 155 g/sqm MoD woven polyester is the most durable flag fabric on the market. Apart from its outstanding durability, woven polyester has a pleasant natural feel and non-shiny cotton/wool like look. 

The enisngs's background colour is a special shade of pale blue traditionally used on RAF ensings since the inception of the very design.

The RAF Roundel part is traditionally stitched using embroidery seam and three layers or different colour circles. 

All stitched Royal Air Force ensign are fitted with heavy duty reinforced cotton headings and by default are supplied either with traditional British rope & toggle, rope loops or metal eyelets.
