Flag of the Government of Northern Ireland (1953-1972) traditionally sewn/embroidered MoD approved.

Our fully sewn woven polyester obsolete Northenr Irish flags (aka Ulster Banner) are made using British Ministry of Defence approved fabric UK/SC/4767. Manufactured in UK by one of the oldest local factories, 155 g/sqm MOD approved woven flag material is by far the most durable flag fabric on the market. Apart from its outstanding durability, MoD approved woven  fabric has a pleasant natural feel and non-shiny wool like look.

The Coat of Arms of Northern Ireland is hand embroidered onto both sides to give the flag authentic look when flown or used outdoors. All embriodery layers are done using only MoD approved woven flag fabric.

All stitched obsolete Northern Irish flags are fitted with heavy duty reinforced cotton headings and by default are supplied either with traditional British rope & toggle, rope loops or metal eyelets.
