Obsolete 17th century Red Ensign, traditionally sewn from wool like MoD approved flag fabricOur fully sewn woven MoD approved flag fabric Red Ensigns are made using British Ministry of Defence approved high quality material UK/SC/4767. Manufactured in UK by one of the oldest local factories, 155 g/sqm MoD woven polyester is the most durable flag fabric on the market. Apart from its outstanding durability, woven polyester has a pleasant natural feel and non-shiny cotton/wool like look. All stitched Red Ensign flags are fitted with heavy duty reinforced cotton headings and by default are supplied either with traditional British rope & toggle, rope loops or metal eyelets.
