Fully sewn Red Ensign using UK manufactured MoD approved naval grade woven polyester fabric, Flag size: 1 yard, 36x18 inches 92x46 centimeters.

1 yard red ensign is stitched using MoD approved official Union Jack's darker red and dark blue colours.

Woven Polyester British ensigns by default are supplied with the following flag fixture types: rope & toggle; rope loops; stainless eyelets (grommets). Every Red Ensign is reinforced with additional stitches round the edges and the fly end. Stitched using flag industry standard corespun sewing thread, resistant to UV and sea water.

UK manufactured woven polyester is a Ministry of Defence approved flag material. It is widely used on British naval vessels and is much favored among private owners for its strenght and pleasant natural wool like appearance. 

Flags made of woven polyester can be safely used in harsh weather or marine conditions. However, special care taken is the best guarantee for the sewn flag to serve well. Do not expose flag to continuous windy weather; take it down during night and upon spotting first signs of tear and wear, send the flag back to us for a free repair works (P&P charges are paid by customer). Although woven polyester flags are machine washable at 30C, we do not recommend tumble or hot drying them. Stitched polyester flags can be steam ironed straight on in low to middle temperature.
